The agent I was speaking to stated that they couldn't identify camps that do not require cars but stated that the parks along the Adriatic would be my best option. That is the reason I asked on here.
I do think you'd be much better off using a tablet or PC, especially when choosing an important and high value item such as a holiday....The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -
Canvas holidays also have similar list

If you do decide on a campsite it might be worth looking to see if it is cheaper to book direct with the campsite
We did that when we stayed in Tuscany, booked with a company the 1st year but went direct the next year as it was cheaper and we also got a wider choice of mobile homes as we wanted 1 with 3 bedrooms. The place we stayed at was fantastic but you would need a car.0 -
The camps near to Venice are perfect for this, most of them are pretty large and have on site supermarkets, are next to the beach, and it's a pretty easy trip into Venice by boat if you want to go. We stayed at Bella Italia on Lake Garda which was lovely, you could walk along the lake into town, there was a free bus from town to Gardaland, lots of boat trips, and the bus to Verona stops just across from the camp.
There's a few options in Spain too near Salou etc and French riviera that wouldn't need a car. All the camps list the distance from towns/villages etc and what is on site. There are also user reviews so you can check out what people say. Most of the sites have other operators on them too like Canvas, Siblu, VacancSoleil, Keycamp so you can check out the different options.
You can hire bedding with Eurocamp, although depending on how many of you and what time of year it might be cheaper to put some sheets in a check in suitcase."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better." Paul Theroux0 -
There are lots of other companies. Siesta International, Lifestyle Holidays, Europarcs, Vacansoliel, Select Camp, Alfresco, Canvas , to name a few. .0

Another vote for the ones near Venice, we stayed at camping medditeraneo and loved it, we went for a week in June 2017. We would go back definitely, so close to Venice Marco polo airport we arranged it easily with a bus taking us from the airport to the camp and back.0
