Setup a "club" site, on the internet

Well, its not really a club, but its for an Author.
there is a website currently live, and the traffic is so low and the owner doesnt want to pay the hosting costs etc, so I was thinking maybe I could create something on Facebook. I dont do the Facebook thing myself, so I setup an account and created a page (what a palava) and uploaded a few photos but now Im stuck I want to list all the books with a short description and isbn reference etc, but nothing looks like it can do that.
So that got me thinking as to where there was another free place that I could use to host this sort of thing, I'm open to ideas either way.

You need to set up a Facebook page, not just a Facebook account. You'd have had to create a Facebook account anyway in order to administer the page.
