How to view electoral rolls?

Slightly OT for these forums .

In Scotland you can view the electoral roll from 2002-2018 how, if you can, view the ER before this?

I am not in Scotland, but I worked in libraries in England that have back copies of the electoral register. I imagine Scotland might be similar. You might need to phone the local studies library or the central library in the area you are interested in to find out.
  • I can't remember if Ancestry has all of them or just the London ones. That can usually be accessed for free in your local library so check that first
