Form N443 Questions

HI, I wander if anyone can answer a couple of questions. I have filled in the Form N443 as I would like an historic CCJ removed from my credit file. The CCJ was paid within the 30 days of issue so I assume the box to tick on the form is "Cancellation"? Also no where does t state that if I wanted a certificate of cancellation!! or a request for a fee. Do I need a cancellation certificate as I understand that they are going to pass on the updated record to the Registry Trust anyway! and Lastly if they do require payment how much is it and who is it payable to. Many Thanks.

To request a cancellation you can submit a cheque to HM Court and Tribunal Services for £15.00 - you will need to complete the form too and it wont hurt to send a covering letter.
I applied for a certificate of satisfaction for a paid in full CCJ and received my cert about 2 weeks later. No issues at all.
** edit, worth noting within a month my credit file was spotless once again and the CCJ had been removed, I've not checked the registry but am confident that is clean too.“It is not the man who has too little, but the man who craves more, that is poor.”0 -
Thanks for your informed reply do you think it would be ok to drop the form into my local court.0

Generally you need to send the form back to the issuing court. I live on the south coast but Northampton dealt with my CCJ, double check the issuing court and call them if you have any concerns, the customer service person I spoke to at Northampton was really helpful.
Good luck.“It is not the man who has too little, but the man who craves more, that is poor.”0
