Yes you are, it's a LBC.

Letter of Claim or Letter before Action, all the same pre-court letter.
So, is this a Letter BEFORE claim...or an actual Letter of claim...?
I think you are getting muddled up, they are the same.

When you say 'actual' I think you are worried this is a MCOL CLAIM FORM but you can see what one of those looks like by doing a quick Google image search. That is not a letter and is pretty obvious when you get it. Go and look it up!

    And you will.

Why not just read all the hundreds of BW Legal cases on here right now and copy the sort of SAR they all did, as the NEWBIES thread tells you to do, at LBC stage.

No finding an old thread and copying the really old and wordy 2017 'rebuttal'.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • Coupon, thanks for taking time to reply.

No, I didn't think it was an MCOL...but I thought a 'letter BEFORE claim' was different to a 'Letter of Claim'. Processing isn't my strength and I can get confused easily.

I have done the SAR, via email, to the dpo@pps

So now I think I need to write an email to BW legal...?
It needs to say I have requested a SAR from pps....yes?
And I need to say I require a restriction of data processing and require the case should be put 'on hold'. ..?
I also need to confirm my correct 'address for service' which is my home postal address...?

Do you think emailing this to enquires@bwlegal be sufficient..? or maybe to parking@bwlegal.co.uk...?

Send it to both. Not as if it is going to cost you twice as much. :D

BWLegal still on the funny stuff of the £60

COURT CLAIM <<<<< without the BWLegal scam of £60

    Ticket = £100
    Court fee = £25
Legal fees = £50 <<<< that's what the court allows
    TOTAL £175

It's now the famous BWLegal Scam
    BWLEGAL ADD ON A FAKE £60 ?
In addition to the 'parking charge', the Claimant's legal representatives, BWLegal, have artificially inflated the value of the Claim by adding costs of £60 which has not actually been incurred by the Claimant, and which are artificially invented figures in an attempt to circumvent the Small Claims costs rules using double recovery.
    >>>> thanks to bargepole

This you bring to the attention of judge should it go the court

PS: .. PPS read this forum, they love checking in
