Driving Lesson Refund?

I need advice on receiving a refund from a driving course company.

8/10/18 I paid £437 from my bank account for a 20 hours of driving lessons, including 5 weekly payments of £20 to the sum of £100 from 23/10/18 till I cancelled the direct debit on 27/11/18. The direct debits was to add up to the full amount of £637

In-between that time I was told by someone in the office that I would be contacted by a driver instructor within 7 days of setting up a direct debt and a confirmation email. Over 7 days past with no contact, I rang up the company stating no one has contacted me. This continued until the 27th of November with numerous calls made to the company, I was told there was issues with the instructors and I was offered a full refund. It also states in their terms and conditions that a refund would be issued if the company failed to find an instructor for a customer. As I agreed to the person on the phone and assumed I would have my money back soon, on the 7th of December I called the company again questioning when I would receive my refund and was told the process was already made and would take 30 days ( I assumed working days ).

Writing this today I have still received no refund and have left time for them to refund me. I am going to call back as over 30 working days have passed, but as I seem to be having difficulty with the company I am wondering if I have some sort of consumer rights for me to lean on or if I can get get my bank (Natwest) to refund the payment. If anyone has any advice please let me know, would be much appreciated!
