I would remove ''summarily assessed at £255'' from #3 because more than likely your only costs will be for attending the set aside hearing (e.g. loss of salary/leave, childcare if arranged specially/if applicable and provable, travel and parking).

So, in your case I wouldn't quantify or assess the costs sum in the draft order.

Thank you. Making my way to the post office now. Should I send recorded delivery?

Well you are sending it to your local court so can it not be taken there?

Seems a waste to use Recorded Delivery to a local court unless it's miles away.

Right. So at the top of the draft order and witness statement do I put my own court there as I put down Northampton county court. My local court is about 3 miles away. I could pop in tomorrow.

Of course you do a set aside at your local court. Northampton CCBC was only a processing centre. You also need to ask about help with court fees, at your local court.

Glad I stopped you sending it to the CCBC black hole, where paperwork goes to die!

Oh my goodness I thought it was sent to Northampton as they issued the judgement and then upon receiving it they would allocate it on to my local court! My local Court is Croydon County Croydon and Family Court. If I hand it in who do I hand it to, I will go down there tomorrow morning.

With regards to help with fees I applied online and they supplied me with a code that I put on the NC244 form. Is that sufficient enough or is there more I need to do?

Sounds perfect. Stroll in and see the Usher at the desk, with your forms.

I am sure they would have done...much slower.
