A few objections constitutes a rant? Who do you associate with? People on lithium, probably.

To be clear, then, those who gave a “thanks” to anyone who disagreed with me:

- feel that old git’s tenants should take the hit for his increased costs/ excessive ill judged initial purchase price/greed.

- are quite happy that their taxes are used to pay housing benefit to landlords whose “investments “ pushed housing costs beyond the reach of the masses.

- believe a money savers ‘ forum is an appropriate place to solicit advice on squeezing tenants.

you talk some crap .You complain about slum landlords ,when I point out I am not a slum landlord you complain about tenants needing benefits .As for being her lover ,I am older than her dad mate.

And there we have it - you reply by saying I probably associate with people who have bipolar disorder. Classy. Given the percentage of people who unfortunately suffer from some form of mental illness at some point in their life, I dare say even you know someone who's been affected by it - I hope that one day you're not one of them.

full story I help tenants that need help .Tenant has two kids ,one at school one not .
Next year she will be looking for work when the youngest is at nursery. She gets £7.50 maintenance for the kids.
She needs a driving licence to get a job (no jobs near her ).
Painting ,painter was painting the bathroom that was re plastered I got him to finish the painting (her paint was used ) as she couldnt reach above the stairs .
Oil .If I get enought to keep the boiler going for the winter its better than letting it run out and breaking the boiler .She had been topping it up buying drums of oil. Its cheaper than replacing a burner .Mobile phone ,cheap as it was a week before christmas and she wanted photos for christmas.
Christmas presents for kids ,would you ignore two kids expecting santa .They got other presents from other people as well.

She was not the only tenant to get christmas presents.
Washing machine cost £15 to fix on a Sunday . Better than wet clothes dripping around the house .She did pay me back when she had the money.
I never ignore tenants in need .I have written of rent arrears from previous tenants ,including one who committed suicide and the agent told me not to return the deposit . Thats what slum landlords do.

Lithium is a mood stabilizer, used to make people calm. Life is a roller coaster, unless you’re on lithium, when it becomes a tram.

No. What we all said was if you dont know the full story then you shouldnt assume and judge and go off on a rant.
