Lapland or disney

Someone on a telly chat show (I think) said about taking their kids to meet Santa in Lapland, and the kids were "meh", parents expected them to be excited, and when asked why they weren't said "we met him last week at the local shopping centre" :rotfl:
TBH ours found Disney a bit "meh" too - I think you need to be a big Disney fan, some bits are good but prefer all rides theme parks with short queues and they found the parades and shows quite boring (as did I, but my wife loved them - as you say it's not an age thing!).0 -
Personally I wouldn't do either, we never did. I can think of far more interesting and useful experiences for children than an old man dressed up, and a glorified theme park heaving with the general population. The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0
