Hi everyone
Just a quick update on my little granddaughter. She had a couple of bad days last week - her breathing wasn't good and she had to have the face mask back on and she needed antibiotics for a chest infection. Happily shes a lot better now! I visited both yesterday and today and she's back to the small tube in her nose and having lovely cuddles with her mummy.
Hopefully she may get moved to the closer hospital this week - it's still an hour away but that's better than 2 and a half hours. I've done about 12 hours travelling this weekend, but its worth it to see them both.
Hope everyone has had a good weekend - I'm off for my tea now and then a nice relaxing bath.0 -

dp1 Thanks for the info on DGD although I am sorry she's been quite poorly. I hope she goes from strength to strength from now on. Sending healing vibes her way.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0

dp1 having a word with The Big Guy tonight for your DGD hopefully the meds will sort her out bless her .
Had a lovely dinner tonight at DDs, leg of lamb with all the trimmings and apple strudel and custard for pud came home about 9.45pm and my car was totally frosted up and it was -4c on the gauge in the car . In bed now with a hot water bottle a cuppa and just about to have a read. I shall catch up with Les Mis tomorrow as it was recorded, not worth putting the heating on to watch it ,warmer tucked up in bed with my laptop. If I wake as I usually do in the early hours I may see the eclipse ,or at least the red moon as it will be 11 years until it happens again and who knows, at my age, if I shall be still around and compos mentis with all my grey cells firing then
:) will be knocking on a bit thats for sure
:)
Keep warm chums, the winter is about to bite I think
