No we were told to go back in a few days as it needs an MOT and service it just doesn’t add up , we have entered into an agreement and have been accepted yet the garage is trying to get us to either take the deposit back or take the new interest rate.

Your position would obviously be better if you had the vehicle, I take it you still have a signed completed copy of the paperwork?

Yes we have the signed agreement and an email from the said finance company saying welcome and explaining the finance deal.

    So what of it's signed?

There's two issues here, the finance and the purchase. If the finance company won't give 0% how is the car going to be purchased?

Best you get all your facts correct first.

Sounds like a well practised scam to me. Not sure I would trust their honesty on any car they sell..

If in your position id proceed to comply with the terms of the contract and hope they keep to their side. If not they've breached the contract.

    Why?

The sales agreed and finance approved.

Has the actual finance house signed the finance agreement? I suspect it is not complete until they have done so, unless they have allowed the dealer to do so on their behalf.

Because there is no ISSUE where you said there was one.

Fair point this, OP have you looked at reviews of the dealership online?
