HI
just a quick question.
My partner is without a bank account at the moment and is about to start a new job they have asked for bank details.
My self I am on esa suport group.
Would it be ok for her wages to go into my bank account till she sorts herself a bank account out?
Even tho I am receiving benefits into my account.
It would litteraly only be for 2 week period a month at most..
Thanks in advance

There’s no immediate issue with that as far as your benefits go. Remember that if your benefit is means tested and your partner is included on your claim you must tell the DWP that she has started work and her income will be taken into account.
There is a risk that if you have to provide bank statements to the DWP at some time in the future the payments will complicate things because you will have to explain them.
It shouldn’t take long for partner to set up an account, it would be simpler if they can do this before they are due to be paid.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0 -
Thankyou for reply

She's not included on my claim. We are bf/gf.
I've not been tested since I've been on them nor had to prove anything to dwp.
Would it be advisable for her to use someone's account where they receive wages anyway? Rather than mine? Her bank appointment is Friday but her employment have asked for it tomorrow.

Do you live together? If so do you claim Contributions based or Income related ESA?Absodonkers wrote: »Thankyou for reply

You refer to her in the original post as your partner. You do not have to be married or in a civil partnership to be classed as a couple. If you live together you will almost certainly be classed as a couple for benefit purposes. If you have moved in together since the start of your claim, and it's not a pure Contributions based claim, you should have informed DWP at that time.

Ad previously advised, it's better for her to have her own bank account that way no questions will be asked at any point.Absodonkers wrote: »To clear it up
