When I moved recently I wrote to D.W.P and also the tax office ..I got replies to confirm the new details which I have filed.0

It says above, in post #10, that if you update HMRC through the Gateway, they update state pension, NI, tax credits and child benefit. That seems logical. I'm going to tell her she can phone the number supplied by you all or register on the Gateway and update from there.0

Bear in mind that if she only 'uses the internet in a limited way' she may find the registering on the Gateway a bit challenging, as it includes quite a stringent identity verification process. This can be a bit of a struggle to complete, especially if she does not have much in the way of an electronic id presence ( e.g. passport, credit history, etc)0
