Android address book app

I would like a standalone contacts / address book app for android.

I don't want any syncing as I will back it up manually.

Any recommendations please.....

What is it about the Google address book app you already have on your phone that you don't like?

you're making life much more difficult for yourself by not syncing contacts across devices. how are you going to keep contacts up to date on pc/laptop/phone/tablet without duplicating the process?

You can turn off syncing with any of them including the Google one if you want to.

...or if you don't like the standard methods hold them in a csv or other format text file, spreadsheet, document table....
...again, like in other posts people make,
more info would help to suggest a solution.....
