The OP is asking about why SC for her husband needs HER details which is a different situation to what you are all talking about.
If she has debts her husband doesn't know about and he answers incorrectly that would be a problem.

I didn't when I did it for mine in last job, though they did need lots of surprising stuff like date and place of birth of parents etcSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
