    The OP is asking about why SC for her husband needs HER details which is a different situation to what you are all talking about.
    If she has debts her husband doesn't know about and he answers incorrectly that would be a problem.

    See this thread often enough, the true intent of the questions is to gauge whether you'd be receptive to bribery, theft or deceit. Whether you have debts is almost irrelevant, I know countless people who have gotten clearance with CCJ's.

    Oh just re-read the OP. NSV001 (form used for standard SC) doesn't ask about the financials of your partner?

    I didn't when I did it for mine in last job, though they did need lots of surprising stuff like date and place of birth of parents etc
