Bit long winded, bare with me.
Received a ticket from ukpc basically ive put my permit down by the handbrake whilst having the windows open you know the rest! Ive not put it back on the dash.
Come down the next morning to a ticket bang in the middle of the windscreen! Fantastic. Thought id just act on it so a few days pass i appeal it ,send them a picture of my permit in the eye-line of the fine some hero has presented me with.
They get back to me telling me the ticket has been issued correctly, to which i respond i wont be paying ( frustrated move ) couple weeks pass same thing happens hold my hands up my bad, so the hero presents me with another ticket. I am wound up one with myself for not getting a wallet sorted for the permit and two i live here we have established this already but here we go again.
So i just email to say look im not paying you can see the permit all be its not displayed brilliantly but its there im a resident, leave me alone basically. Couple weeks pass the debt collection letter comes through the door, amazing just what i need! It winds me up so i call the debt people to explain the situation. Not interested what so ever speak to ukpc, like trying to contact someone on mars. I just leave it until the debt mob start calling me up i have no trade with them and decide to speak with my property manager.
At first she says theres nothing she can do but once i put it on her about all the problems they are causing she decides to help. The wardens have been seen knocking on some people's doors telling them to move before they give them the ticket which is a nice touch but no one come and knocked on my flat door and told me !
The property manager comes back to me says they wont take back on the charges so i have a little moan up now magically they have reduced the price. I said im willing to pay one of the fines at the first price issued to meet in the middle but seems to be no agreement. Just wondering if anyone has any advice on how i should go about things from here on

Why do they do this? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

You can't do this on a 'phone if that's what you are trying to use.
I'm not sure what you mean by a big drama, but having information spread across more than one thread makes it difficult to follow, and lose continuity.
We get about a hundred threads a day and having duplicates doesn't help the too few volunteers that give advice here.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
