UK pcm parking charge

Hello
First off I am a new member and think the work you guys do here is great.
I have read the newbies thread and think I need to send the ipc template letter which makes sense, but was wondering (as I can't find out any info on the Web) if ipc members have to offer a grace period like bpa members do(if that is correct)?
My company received a pcn on 17/1/19 that was issued on the 14/1/19.
I had gone into a pub car park, parked up and left within 4 minutes on the 7/1/19 and was caught on camera. There is photo evidence of my entry and exit.
I went next door to the shop cheeky I know but assumed like an idiot that it would be OK.
Having a look at the signs it states that you must key in your vehicles regesteration in the pub for free parking. To make matters worse I know I have parked In the car park since then to go to the shop again so I'm also waiting for these to come through.
Any help on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated
Many thanks

Depends if they have evidence photos of the driver leaving the site, and if the PCN is even for 'driver left the site'. What's the alleged contravention?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The contravention is "Parked in a manner whereby the driver became liable for a parking charge".
I don't know if they have evidence of me leaving the vehicle but the photos are very dark and you can only see the headlights and number plate on entry and rear lights and numberplate on exit.
Would requesting a sar at this stage be the way to go to see what other evidence they have? Bearing in mind that I'm pretty sure there will be a couple more of the same pcn's coming through.0 -
Yes, request a SAR for all data & photos held for any PCNs issued in the last month regarding that car at that site. You could mention one PCN number but make it very clear you are asking for ALL photos for ANY parking event within the past month or whatever.
Use their DPO email shown in their privacy page.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for the help, I will request a sar and report back.
Many thanks.0 -
Thanks for all your help so far, I have drafted an email requesting all the info they have on the vehicle in question. But before I send it would it be wise to go to the pub in question and appeal to their better nature and see if they can cancel the pcn's them selves?
Many thanks.0 -
Send the SAR anyway.
Of course complain to the pub as well.0 -
Yes, do both together, a 2-pronged attack.
No telling the pub if someone walked somewhere! Just that you got a PCN before you could even have got the the bar and registered the VRN.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

They responded this morning with this.
In order for us to respond to your Subject Access Request please could you provide proof of identity? We will require a copy of your passport, driving licence or a utility bill with your full name and address to verify your identity and complete the Subject Access Request.
I am the driver of the vehicle but not the keeper as its a company van. Do I just need to send them a utility bill of the company address the vehicle is regestered to?0 -
Show proof you are ONE of the day to day keepers of the van, could be an email from the company. Plus a utility bill as proof of name/address.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
