Texacocard

I recently applied on-line for the above credit card.I answered all of the questions including the amounts that I wished to transfer from other cards.

A week later I received my card, I also received at the same time a letter dated the day before my card, informing me that my request for a balance transfer was not possible due to insufficient funds being available in my account.

I have yet to query this but wondered if anyone else has had this problem?

Did you expect they give you any credit limit you ask? Their decision is based on other factors. And generally cards with low life-of-balance interest rate give smaller initial limits than usual cards. Now you know your limit and can transfer part of the balance from one of your other cards.
