So just disable 'Auto sync' that covers all accounts and see if that helps.

Or, you could try to create an account and log in then turn off the sync.
I've never had it happen, but, it seems to be fairly common.

I do want my google to update and sync , photos i take appear on my pc in google pics , charge port is broken and I use the sit on "qi??) charger

I understand you want to continue your Google sync, but, you can turn it back on after you have determined if that cures the Samsung message.
I know you don't want a Samsung account, but, you can create one and not use it, turning off the sync.
If the phone is backed up to Google, a factory reset may help, it certainly won't do any harm....
