Cheque posted to Nationwdie

I posted a cheque to Nationwide last Friday 11th January using the PO box address quoted on the website. However, it still hasn't been paid into my account.
Is anybody able to give me a rough idea of how long it normally takes for Nationwide to receive and pay in a cheque or do you think it would be wise to call the issuer of the cheque and get it cancelled and reissued.

I'd also add several working days to the timescale given above.
They tend to be aims rather than what happens every time.0
