Halifax mortgage process - FTB

Hi,
I've applied for a mortgage with Halifax yesterday using a MB, during the application the MB call Halifax to run through the paperwork with them and based on this a valuation was booked for Monday....which is quick.
does this mean we have passed as class A with Halifax?
Can anyone give me information on the actual process with Halifax, as well as how long it usually takes and any person experience with timelines.
Thanks in advance

Haven’t been asked for anything out of the ordinary, like you we also used a broker, without sounding stupid what do you mean by passed as a Class A by Halifax? We were advised by our broker that they were happy with what had been sent and pending valuation it would go to offer0

Hi bandy, glad to hear you got what you wanted hassle free, Im in the smoke position at the start and have provided one payslip, seems very minimal. what all was required from you and what hoops where you asked to jump trough?0

Hi, i was asked to provide payslips for 3 months, bank statments for 3 months and P60 and nothing else!
They said that when the valuatiob is bookee youve basically got the mortage subject to valuation....however i doubted every step and second guessed everything....now i just think why did i worry so much!
Good luck going forward!0
