Hi,
Sold a item under a tenner , which buyer reports is faulty. What is the correct way to refund the buyer (through ebay/paypal or getting them to raise a case?). I don't want the widget sent back.
Thanks.

Just go to the record in you Paypal account and there is an option to refund that you can click on. You can include a message with the refund.0

Thanks, do you know if that would automatically refund the ebay fees?0

No, not if you refund through PayPal.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. Your statutory rights are not affected.0

Ask buyer to,open a SNAD case and refund through that. eBay fees are returned and it is all automatic.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
