For those of us with disabilities that fluctuate, for example not able to walk far because of duff lungs rather than no legs, provided you’ve been honest in your application it’s fine. For example my award letter for PIP and previously for DLA mentioned words along the lines of ‘although your condition fluctuates for the majority of the time you cannot ...’ and awarded me higher/enhanced mobility. Granted on my best weeks I still can’t walk far but I was very open that sometimes I can walk a short distance and I try to as much as possible.
  • I claim PiP...and I can walk...okay not very far, and only using a walking aid...and certainly not every day...

My claim is 100% genuine...the criteria doesn't state that PiP is only granted if you cannot walk!

Walking was just an example, I can't give an example for every disability/reason for claiming going.

But the jist of it was as long you have represented the good and bad days correctly then you have nothing to worry.

You SHOULD have nothing to worry about....but the assessors don't always give an accurate representation in their report...no matter how much you try and explain things to them!....which is why so many tribunals are successful.

There is some useful information on PIP and its descriptions on Pip.info.

Here is the section on walking around.

    https://pipinfo.net/activities/moving-around

There are also links to decided cases which could be used as persuasive arguments if a challenge is needed.
Unlike some here, I am not omniscient. If I am wrong correct me. I won't take offence.

What has that got to do with disability fraud though?

This thread is about disability fraud, not disability assessments.

The two are totally separate subjects
