Drop Shipping Videos EBay

This is something I’ve never understood.

Yesterday I stumbled across a video on YouTube and watched.

I understand the concept and that but...

I was thinking if you say sell stuff with the recommended mark up from a UK retailer, and sells, you then order it from the UK retailer and get it delivered to the customer.

Don’t they then realise where it’s come from? Wouldn’t it be addressed to you and not them? What if an invoice came with it and they saw the original price? Then thought I can get it cheaper I’ll return it and they buy direct?

  • Don’t they then realise where it’s come from?
They often do, just look through some negative feedback of the drop shippers.

I've got problems with a dropship eBay order now.

Coming up to 30 days so a dispute about to be opened.

Only a dvd but looks like I'm not the only one reading the recent feedback.

  • Yeah I’ve read a lot around it and when you view some of the videos it makes you wonder.

Surely they don’t make as much as they are telling you. Sounds unrealistic.

Plus the ones that say they use places such as Amazon and Argos. If I ordered something from eBay and then it was delivered by Argos or Amazon I would by thinking hmmm.

The only way to make money dropshipping, is by making videos on how to dropship.

There are a lot of US sellers on forums complaining bitterly that they have received warnings from eBay over the past few days. Apparently TRS status is automatically lost and listings ranked low or hidden completely and some are seeing huge drops in their sales.

If it's started in the US it will soon hit here.

As usually with eBay they have also hit some non drop shippers and some sellers are having to provide receipts and proof of actually having goods to get their status back.

  • This has been going on for years and years now, there was a cluster of sellers registered in Israel (which i read were actually based in China) and looking at the prices they were making about 20 pence a sale.

I believe it can be automated with Amazon, a few people complain but the majority leave positive feedback.

I have unknowingly brought from such a seller twice before, both were add on items at Amazon and I didn't want to spend the £20 so looked on eBay, one was the same price and the other £1.50 more. Not sure how the sellers got around the min £20 spend add on requirement.

Enough orders to take it over £20 or they purchased something they wanted or something they will return?
