I am eligible for free home improvements, may go with loft insulation as that is pretty low risk ( I am a born sceptic) has anyone had dealings with them?

Hi, found your thread through Google, I'm asking the same question as you.
They came to my door today on spec. According to them if in receipt of child benefit and/or certain others such as Carers Allowance, we can get extra insulation in loft/walls and also a free boiler. Government and energy companies are paying as it's a 'green initiative' supposedly. Sounds too good? Anyone else experienced this?
Thanks in advance.0 -
They contacted me, twice they have made appointments to come to my house and twice they have not only not turned up, they haven't even called to apologise! Don't care how busy they are, if they make an appointment and need to break it a phone call is common courtesy!0
