A gym goer who was accused of leaving her car ‘overnight’ at a busy Sutton Coldfield shopping and leisure site has fought and won twice against a parking firm.
Louise Passey, who is a member at the Better Gym in Mere Green, received two £100 fines from Britannia Parking, which manages the Mulberry Walk car park, after it claimed she stayed there ‘overnight’ in both November and December.
I like this stupid statement from Britannia:-
Britannia rejected Louise’s appeal for a second time – with the same wording as above – claiming its ANPR cameras cannot be wrong. and "A Britannia Parking spokesman said: “Britannia Parking is a reputable car park operator and manager with more than 25 years’ experience.
So, if they were sure of the infallibility of their equipment, why did they not contest the POPLA appeal?

They did not contest because they know ANPR is flawed
They are after all approved scammers of the BPA
But ........ look at the sign carefully .... BWLegal keep prattiing on about "a contract charge of £60" being on the signs ???
It could be in the tiny tiny terms displayed but NOT something that would create a contract.
At least it saves BWLegal sending out their normal load of rubbish adding on the fake £60.0
