Nearly £2000 to Restore Ltd Company

I am required to have a Limited Company be booked to do leadership coaching work for the staff of a large organisation. I was considering restoring my old Ltd company but Companies House said it would cost me nearly £2000 to do that when all the fees are totalled up. Would it be possible and cheaper to just set up a new Limited Company?
Thank you

Of course it would. If you can't do it yourself directly with Co House, there are formation agents and even accountants who'd do it for a fraction of that cost. Anywhere from £15 to £100 is the norm depending on how much help you need. You'd also have to do the tax registrations for VAT (?), PAYE, corporation tax and self assessment - again you can do it yourself via the HMRC webpages or get an accountant to do it.
Unless there's a reason why you want the old company restored, it makes no sense to spend that kind of money.0 -
Just register a new company with almost identical name to the old one.0

You could use an umbrella company; it costs you money, but you can compare costs/benefits of that by pricing a couple up.0
