Anyone have any opinions on the above?0

Don't tip them off.
No, your main point in your Witness Statement will be that that you didn't get a PCN at the location stated in the Particulars of Claim, and have never visited that place, and your car was not there either. Is my story for this case that I got a ticket somewhere else that day so can't be liable for this one?
It's the Claimant's claim to prove (not for you to prove) and they will have to discontinue before the hearing, IMHO.
Yes they might try again but then you can defend that one in the usual way (unclear signs, no contract, etc.) and you will know what you are doing.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Haha understood! I will be much more on the ball!
They have come back to my SAR and requested 2 lots of ID; Passport or driver's license and bill or bank statement.
In the sticky it says this is excessive and I should not have to supply it.
Can I simply reply to them saying exactly this? Apologies if it feels like I am asking to be spoon fed.0 -

They do need info for data protection.
Your V5C will be enough (copy)
That will confirm your address and reg number, the information they already have
You cannot be providing any further info to scammers, you never know where it will end up0 -
Indeed, they know that is excessive.
State that if they do not accept the V5c, you will report them to the ICO and, should they still refuse, you will obtain a civil injunction requirng the disclosure, at their cost.0 -
I no longer own the car in question so do not have the V5c.0
-
Send them a copy of the claim form they sent you
They filed a claim with the details on file, so must accept this as proof of address and connection ot the vehicle in return.0 -
Hi All,
Just to update - probably the last for a while; Have sent the claim form to the PPC cowboys as part of my SAR - no response as yet.
Have also just completed the CC DQ using Bargepoles awesome guide! It was Gladstones, who wanted a paper case so I included the section about opposing it.
Thanks again all!0
