Sad news. I have found his writings/musings and the Vanguard funds very helpful. A very sad loss, but at least he leaves a substantial legacy in terms of his impact.0

RIP Jack. Your legacy lives on though...0

Sad news indeed. The UK investing market is infinitely better off for us customers for having Vanguard in it.0

Watched a few of his videos and interviews. He certainly achieved a huge reduction in the number of fund managers charging high fees and gettin rich on average and poor performance - and still there is work to be done. RIP.0

RIP to a great man who setup a great establishment for people to invest for their futures."If you aren’t willing to own a stock for ten years, don’t even think about owning it for ten minutes” Warren Buffett

Sad news. The man who brought down investing fees enormously so investing is now accessible to the everyday, average person. As well as creating index funds, and of course - Vanguard.

He should be as publicly lauded as Buffet, if not more so. Who'll be next to rock the finance industry's yachts? RIP0
