Boiler issue

They seem to heat up ok, no issues from what I've observed. We just don't get a steady flow of hot water which makes showers a pain and means baths are no-go.

When you bought the house, what was on the Property Info form regarding the boiler, and its previous servicing?

Another vote for it being the plate heat exchanger. Only way to be sure is to get a Gas Safe registered engineer to look at it.

Another thought: If you have just moved in, were any checks made on the boiler as part of the purchase process? If so, to properly gas rate it as part of safety checks/service, it would have to have been run flat out, can you contact the engineer that did this and ask them?

Hi all, first time on the forum.
Just a quick bit of advice needed. My parents boiler is an old 24i RSF Combi which has electrodes for ignition. Saturday after the bad weather the boiler just packed in. The electrodes spark but there doesn’t seem to be gas in the chamber for it to ignite. The overheat switch is down and the front panel is responsive when turning the boiler on.  Just doesn’t seem to be gas. Any possible solutions ?
