Hi, I need a bit of advice if possible I have sold my house but these are the issues I have with the solar panel company who refuse to rectify them.
The reasons both the buyers and ourselves believe the lease are none CML compliant are below:
1. The lease signed by our client is between her and Solar Sun 6 Limited
The lease signed by your client is between Solar Sun Bristol Limited and our client.
The fact the lease is registered does not matter, the signed leases should match, the fact they do not means the title is defective and needs to be correct before any lender will lend.
2. It appears then that the security of tenure provisions of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 have not been excluded and therefore the tenant (solar panel company) will have the statutory right to a new lease on the same or similar terms when the term of the lease expires.
The seller and the tenant will need to enter into a new lease which excludes the Act.

You have a solicitor to sell your house, who better to get advice from than him/her.
This is not for this site, it's proper legal advice you need.0 -
Have a search for this subject over on the housing board. Consumer rights don’t come into this.0
