Renting a flat - student overdraft

Hi there,
I have a query about when I can rent a flat.
I've recently graduated and just got my first full-time job. I have a £2,000 interest-free graduate overdraft with Santander that I'm about £1,400 into at the moment. When I get my first wage packet the balance will be just over 0.
I'm keen to move out and rent a flat with my mate, but when would this be possible? Rent will only be about £325 (400ish inc bills) but with the deposit that'll be about £1,000. Do I need to wait until I have enough to not go back into the overdraft (albeit temporarily) and a few bank statements of me not being overdrawn?
I assume my credit score's fine - I've never taken out bank loans, credit cards or unarranged overdrafts - and I can get a guarantor.
Thanks in advance.

Nope. Neither LL nor Agent see your bank statement, or anything else really.
(credit scores aren't real things)
Just apply when you've got enough to pay and survive until next payday0
