Is it just me or do estate agents make gardens look bigger than what they are? I've seen a few houses on the internet that have really large gardens, but when I go and visit them the gardens are tiny.
Are estate agents doing something with the pictures?

Using wide angle or fish-eye lenses. That gets more of the room or garden in the photo, but alters the perspective so the far end looks further away.0

Hmmm I wonder how that squares with the Propert Misdescriptions Act? Estate agents' particulars never seem to give dimensions of gardens, and often not rooms like bathrooms or toilets either.
The only 'description' of the garden would be the distorted picture.0 -

I'm not surprised that they can't get gardens right - I'm amazed at how many different sizes acres come in..............I suspect they just go with whatever the vendor says and hope the disclaimer covers it.0
