I know but it was the only choice I had due to a CCJ from a few years ago
There were other choices, just a cheaper car but thats done now.
Try and push for it to be repaired if its bolt on parts only - if they wont then see if you can claim directly from the third party....most insurers would of passed this to a claims management scam artists though if liability was not in dispute.0 -
£7000 of repair costs, and you want it back, I would not want a car with that level of damage back. Even with AUDI parts prices £7000 is more than bolt on parts. Insurer are not obliged to sell you the salvage and if it gets a cat b it can not go back on the road anyway.
It's not the insurer or third party fault you had to take sub prime finance. All you are entitled to is the market value of the car at the date of the accident.0 -

They will want you to buy it back as the salvage value of the car has already been factored in to their decision to write it off.0 -

It's entirely possible that it's bolt on parts. Friend had similar level of damage quote and repaired themselves for just over £1000. Garage were replacing any slightly damaged trim and respraying when it wasn't required if panel was already scratched.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0
