Mortgage Interest Support Loan

I see that there is a qualiying period of claiming an eligible benefit such as jobseekers allowance (income based) for 39 consecutive weeks.
I was on contribution based JSA since May 2018 and have just been rolled over to income based. Looks like due to DWP incompetencies they have scheduled my new claim with a gap of 1 week.
Am I still eligible for mortgage support as its essentially still JSA ?
I have a bad gut feeling that they will rule me out by saying my claim is not a consecutive 39 weeks due to the 1 week gap or that I have only just started claiming an "eligible benefit" (the income based).

You need to be claiming income based benefit for 39 weeks to be eligible.

You would have had to have served the relevant waiting period before you can get the Support for Mortgage Interest Loan. This is normally 39 weeks for Income Support, Income-based Jobseekers Allowance, Income-related Employment and Support Allowance, and approximately nine months for Universal Credit.0
