Hi, apologies if this has been posted before but I am new to this forum, I'm currently booking an independent hotel in Spain directly as they will only allow 4-day stays to be booked online and we are stopping for 3-days. It’s for 15 people so need to pay a £585 deposit to secure the booking.
The hotel have asked for either my credit card details via email or to pay via bank transfer – which is the safest option? Am I still covered insurance wise if I send my credit card details via email for them to process the payment?
Are both option risky?
