Summer Infants Advent Warning

When I looked yesterday mine was there too. I had entered one of their advent competitions.

Yesterday afternoon I emailed socialmediauk@summerinfant.com

This is a very strange situation and you may have others with the same problem.

On ........... I entered your advent competition in good faith that my data was safe.

Today I put my email address in google and the first result comes up with my email attached to your site.

This is totally unacceptable.

I have checked and my email has not been hacked.

I would appreciate you investigating this as soon as possible.

I have just had the following reply:

Thank you so much for your email and for bringing this to our attention.
I have got in contact with the web developers who designed the advent function for us and they are on the case now with deleting the pages that were showing your email address.

Please rest assured that we take things of this nature very seriously, and thank you so much for letting us know so we can deal with it asap.

I have immediately replied saying surely I am not an isolated case as many people enter competitions and hope there will be a thorough investigation.

I also got in touch with them and near enough word for word. Said they have to wait for Google to 'crawl' the website when they said they had sorted it and it still showed my email after their apparent remedy of deleting the page.
