Summer Infants Advent Warning

Just a quick warning to anybody who may have entered the Summer Infants Advent.

This evening I was googling my name, and came across my email address posted on the Summer Infant website :mad:

My email address is coming up as part of the web address so its

https://summerinfant.co.uk/xmas_advent_draw/ my email address

And then on the actual web page, my email address is there, completely public!

So, if anybody entered the Summer Infant advent, it might be worth googling your email address to make sure its not public.


Note - I've just had to edit this post, as the original post was picking up the web address as a link, and was showing someone else's email address (it was picking up the first few letters of the my email address bit at the end of the url and linking to a random email address) , so it does look like this may affect multiple email accounts.

I didn't enter but can confirm it does affect multiple e-mail addresses

Still there - the link just goes to the basic page - you can google your e-mail address to check yours or add it to the end of the link in the first post

Well that was interesting! Not only am I showing on this website, when I did a search I am showing on another six websites, granted going back a few years.

Mm, googling my email I see it came up on a few blogs via the comments thing even though the email isn't supposed to be published
