Child Tax Credit

I am a widow on State Pension. Two years ago my daughter died and I now look after my 16 year old granddaughter who was at college in full time education. She was involved in a car accident and due to her injuries she was advised to postpone her college course until September, 2019. What happens about her Child Benefit and the Child Tax Credit? I cannot afford to look after her on just my pension.
