I'm fine - just grabbed a haul of yellow sticker bargains from the co-op - my breakfast and lunches are going to consist of lots of yoghurt (7p each!) over the next few days! They even had reduced Kit Kats!

No worries - I know you are busy, whenever is fine.

Hi
Nice to see another diary. Always wanted to work on a rig (Only for the Money though). Cannot swim so no good if I do a deep sea dive over the edge. Oil be following your progress :rotfl:
Good luck

Hi Wilkster5, looks like you're making good progress already.
Have you thought about making a bit of free money through quidco.com? Check out the quidco threads on the freebies board. For example, Hilarys Blinds pay £20 if you go via quidco to make an appointment about getting blinds installed. No hard sell, you (or rather your OH;) ) just has to keep the appointment.
Every little helps.:)Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MoneySavingExpert Forum Team0 -
I'll need to check this quidco out, never used or even visited the site before. Feels good paying the debt of, been playing the financial osterich for so long. And the guilt is not as bad about being in debt to my folks. Oh and Yellow monkey, the money is good but believe it or nor it's not as bad as it seems there is other perks too, and half the guys cant swim here either, I think the cold would get ya before drowning...either way its a bum deal !! just dont fall in.

not such a good month, I'm just back to work and have missed my first week of the trip = only 1 weeks salary in Jan should be around £1500 clearin my pocket which is not good. On the brighside sold some stuff and have paid more to my mum and dad. But I have been spending too much on rubbish again. I'm soooo weak when it comes to spending!!!! I hope I can do this!Debt @ LBM April 2005 £27500

Not updated in this in a while, been very bad recently and not watching the £££ at all. 1 week into my 2 week offshore trip and the company have offered another 1 weeks after that..3 weeks in a row...bummer...but means an extra 1 week of not spending a penny, and extra £1500 clear for that weeks over time to throw at debt.. I wont be spending one single penny until the 5th February now...nil...zilch...nada..hee-haw!.. but 1 extra week ontop of 2 already is a killer!!!Debt @ LBM April 2005 £27500
