Economy Energy Refund Still Owed

Hello all,
I was an economy energy customer for just less than a year and have a credit balance of just over £700. I have been owed this since November 2018, and have been calling and calling and when I do get through they tell me to wait for it to appear in my account...which I’m guessing will never happen. It was only because I watched Martin Lewis’ programme that I realised the delay was because they are in administration!
Could anybody tell me what I can do to get my money back? I could really do with it right now and can’t wait any longer!
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thankyou in advance,
Carly

You are going to have to wait for Ovo to sort it out, likely to be a couple of months at least. Look on the bright side, at least that money is protected. In a normal company failure it would be lost.0

If the credit balance is showing on your account then you will be able to claim back from the new supplier that has taken over from them. It may take a few weeks but your more likely to get it know than you were.0
