Prepayment meter
I inherited pre-payment meters when I moved into my new house last year. I changed supply to my old energy company Npower as I thought my history with them might help me get the meters changed to credit meters. I have now had 7 appointments since January 2018 for Npower to come and change my electric meter (gas meter was changed after 1 failed appointment). For 3 of the appointments I received a phone call the day before the appointment to cancel. The other 4 appointments no call was received and nobody bothered to turn up. So 12 months on I am still stuck with a pre-payment meter. I tried again to get another appointment in December and was told they would call me back with an appointment date but I am still waiting. I have had problems with my top ups being credited to my account by Npower caused apparently by a box not being ticked on their system. I am now at the end of my tether with Npower and want to switch companies. Can anyone recommend a company that will come and change a meter when they say they will and have a good reputation for Customer Services. Thank you
