Lowest fees for Direct Debit provider (Business)?

Hi everyone

I am being charged 20p (minimum transaction fee) on my direct debits that I receive from my customers. Is there a cheaper Direct Debit provider that offers lower minimum fees?

The company who I am with will not lower my fees until I reach 60k transactions per month, despite me having a gew thousand already, there is a long long way to go

'Direct Debit provider' is an odd phrase, do you mean 'bank account' or maybe 'provider of terminals and processing of debit card transactions'?

Edit: as pointed out below, it's not odd for those who know what they're talking about!
