    I see your point but the thing is they tested the car at the time with no fault as req , first thing they will do if you keep on at them is ask when the brake fluid was changed if it ever has been if it had packed up a month after they tested it you would have had good ground but with such a long time gone i think you will struggle, but threaten them with some free advertising and such

    Tell the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) if you’re not happy with how the manufacturer is dealing with your report.

    DVSA will:

    investigate the issue with the manufacturer
    tell you what action is being taken
    No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
