Both CRAs confirmed Santander deleted data from my personal reports on 14 November 2018.
Both CRAs advised they did not have permission from the lender to correct my data and both told me to contact Santander.
I submitted SAR to Santander. During telephone call yesterday, they confirmed they would not reply to request. The data concerning the use of my address relates to their (ex) customer - not me.
Thank you.0 -
Blue1966, I find your account of the problem very confusing and freely confess that I don't understand what your complaint is.
Are you saying Santander had erroneously created a financial association between you and somebody else, and that they removed any trace of it on November 14 last year? If so, when did you first notice it, and what did you do, when, to have it removed? How do you know they removed it on that date? If not, can you clarify in a couple of simple paragraphs what the issue is?
Can you also clarify what your neighbour has to do with it?0 -
The way I read it is someone lived at the address and company accounts registered at the address.
They moved out and have not updated their new address with their bank.
Bank will not provide data to the OP.

If Santander hold any personal data about you (as opposed to data relating to a different person at your old address) then they're legally obliged to disclose this to you on receipt of a valid SAR - did your SAR specifically ask for your personal data or were you using it as a means to try to get hold of data about the other person/company using your old address?
And just to be clear, when you refer to 'correcting' your data, do you mean deleting (accurate but unwanted) references to your previous address or removing something that is/was factually inaccurate?0
