Visitor to house

A close friend was recently burgled and as a result she is scared to move back into her rented home. Her landlord is abroad but is trying to put in alarms etc and modernise.
I offered for her to stay with me while this was sorted - I naively assumed that it would be for a few days. But we are now in the second week and she doesn't seem to be saying much about when she will be moving out. She is staying rent free.
Any advice on how to broach the topic?

    Look into the bobby trust.

They can offer home security like window alarms etc. This should enable her to feel a little safer whilst a proper alarm is being installed.

Sadly I think you just need to be honest and explain that the lomger she leave it the harder it will be
