Just to add, for others reading this. A person claiming LCWRA on UC can't be paid the carers element at the same time.I'm on UC, previously on ESA with my partner in support group and myself a carer. I can confirm that that particular scenario results in higher benefits on UC than on legacy benefits.
If the carer works, it's hugely better than legacy.0 -

You're correct that one person can't be paid both carers element and LCWRA - but I did make it clear that it was my partner who is disabled (and hence getting LCWRA) and myself who is the carer getting carer element.0
