Can I challenge this fine? Parked adjacent to a dropped footway

First seen time: 15:45
Time of issue: 15:45
Reason for fine: parked adjacent to a dropped footway.
I parked in this spot because the yellow lines have been rubbed off so I figured it was okay (I do have photos but can’t post being a user with few posts).
I was parked here for 5 mins so got really unlucky. Any advise or shall I just pay it? Fine is £70 halved if I pay in 14 days.
Thanks in advance

Are you using a Hotmail address to register? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Try getting around in a wheelchair and then see whether it's fine to block dropped kerbs.0
