Are you in the US ? Our Energy is a Texas supplier.

This is a UK site and I doubt anyone can help.
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

My apologies for mixing up Our Power and Or Energy.

Apparently : "The portal is linked to a data management system called MECOMS™ which was designed specifically for energy and utility companies by Ferranti Computer Systems in Belgium. The whole process is effectively streamlined to deliver a better customer experience while achieving budgeted savings for Our Power"

What did the Our Power documentation say ?

  • Don't know if you've already worked out what this is about but I've just taken it up with a city councillor and the local Citizens Advice after being up and down the hill with Utilita and the Our Power insolvency administrators.
I only found out about it because I emailed Our Power Customer Service about the Warm Home Discount and received a reply from the insolvency administrators. They sent the final bill with a list of all my payments added at the bottom.
The figure of £186.10 was subtracted from my PAYMENTS on Aug 29th 2018 and corresponds precisely to the charges on my very first bill of 2nd March 2018 (which, incidentally left my account in credit).
A BBC News article in Jan 2019 about the collapse of Our Power says that they had billing system issues in 2018 resulting in late billing and cash flow problems.
I now have the insolvency administrators' direct contact details and will be emailing them both individually. It seems their work may not be quite complete.
By the way, MECOMS is just an online IT system for energy suppliers.
