Removing ccjs from credit rating

Hi all,
Looking for some advice in getting my credit rating back on track. I've recently paid off some council tax arrears after fighting for my ex partner to pay her half. However in the meantime the council took this to court and were granted a liability order.
The problem is this has now appeared on my credit report as a CCJ. The council are refusing to remove it as it's not their listing and liability orders aren't posted on someone's credit rating.
How do I go about getting it removed as it's not a CCJ. I have proof from council I've paid off the debt in full and it is in fact a liability order and not a CCJ
Thanks.

A liability order is not a CCJ and there is no provision for registering as such.
There is one odd situation where I've seen it wrongly registered and that is where a charging order has been put in place.I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0 -
Do you know 100% that is what the CCJ is for?
Also you can ignore the credit ratings and scores as they are not real0
